About Us

We are a group in Western Manitoba with an interest in astronomy.  We are open to all ages and experiences.  We are looking to promote, educate and enjoy the Universe.  We will have public viewings and member observing nights.  While not directly connected with Brandon University they support us.  And we also have access to the University's computerized 16" Ritchey-Cretien Telescope.  We are working with Sprucewoods Provincial Park on various astronomy programs within the park.  We will also be working with the Winnipeg Centre of the RASC on various events.

Some of the activities we have been involved with are the Brandon University Astronomical Observatory Public Nights, Spruce Woods Provincial Park Explore the Park after Dark, Riding Mountain National Park Dark-Sky Weekend, City of Brandon Canada Day Celebration.
